The world needs nurses now more than ever, and nursing students should be as prepared as possible before entering a clinical space. If you are in nursing school, then you know the importance of staying on top of schoolwork, and to help you on your journey to be a nurse, here is a list of 5 helpful apps.

GoodNotes

GoodNotes is the perfect app for transforming your mobile/tablet device into a digital notebook. It even has the capability of importing PDF, PowerPoints, Word documents, and images, so you’ll never have to worry about misplacing important notes or documents! There is a one-time payment of $8.99 to download this app, but it’s well worth it for any student.

GoodNotes is available for iOS.

Flora

If you, like many students, are guilty of procrastination, are easily distracted, or find yourself lacking motivation, Flora is the perfect app to help get you back on track.  When you enter the Flora app, a digital tree is “planted” on your screen, and this tree will grow until you exit the app.  If you exit the app, the tree dies, and you have to start all over.  It’s a great tool for focusing and freeing yourself from the many distractions a smart phone can provide.
