Take flight

Share
By: Elizabeth Moore

For a nurse who loves to fly, it makes sense to be a flight nurse. Donna Miller, RN, took that idea and…flew with it. She bought an airplane. And then another, and a couple more after that. That fleet grew into a multimillion-dollar air ambulance company. Miller’s entrepreneurial spirit has served her and the Las Vegas community well. She’s held leadership positions at the Nevada Nurses Association and the Nevada Ambulance Association, and even ran for mayor of Las Vegas in 2024! She recently spoke with the American Nurses Association about her adventures in nursing and the skies.
