By: Jessica N. Truman MSN, BSN, RN

The Nebraska School Nurses Association (NSNA), the official affiliate of the National Association of School Nurses, is in the process of planning the NSNA School Health Conference that will take place June 2 and 3, 2025 in Lincoln, Nebraska. This conference aims to cover topics relevant to school nursing for nurses across the state. This year’s conference will include topics such as school health data trends, social-emotional regulation, mental health, Medicaid, and more. Nurses outside of the practice of school nursing are welcome to attend.

In addition to the annual conference, the Nebraska School Nurses Association continues to support our members by offering a limited number of reimbursements for school nurses who have passed the School Nurse National Board Certification exam. Additionally, NSNA offers ten Mini Grants each year. Members can apply for a $100 Mini Grant annually to support with the purchase of health-office related items that cannot be covered by the school budget.
