Here are some exciting ways to get involved:

Join or Renew Your Membership
  •  The first step to getting involved is ensuring your membership is current. Have you checked your membership status? If not, now is the perfect time to renew or join the FNA to access exclusive opportunities, events, and resources that help you grow as a nursing professional.
Participate in FNA Conferences and Events
  •  Attend FNA conferences like the Advocacy Days, Membership Assembly or the Research and Evidence-Based Practice Conference to network, gain new knowledge, and connect with fellow nurses.
  •  Sign up to serve as a speaker or presenter at these events, sharing your expertise and insights with colleagues.
Speak at FNA Webinars or Regional Events

  • Volunteer as a research abstract reviewer for the Research Conference to help select outstanding submissions for presentation.
  •  Assist in reviewing recruitment notices for research studies, ensuring compliance with FNA guidelines and supporting ethical and high-quality research.
  •  Support nursing students and colleagues by becoming a scholarship or grant reviewer for the Florida Nurses Foundation.
Engage in Special Interest Groups
  •  Participate in monthly Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings. These virtual gatherings focus on specialized topics, providing a platform for collaboration and professional growth.
Get Involved in Your Region
  • Volunteer with your Regional Leadership Council, contributing to local activities and initiatives that address nursing priorities in your area.
