FNA Welcomes new East Central Region Director Melba Jamison

FNA is happy to introduce Melba Jamison, BSN, RN as the new East Central Region Director of the Florida Nurses Association. Melba is a passionate member of FNA and a dedicated nurse currently working in the Oncology Unit at AdventHealth Orlando.

She is eager to take on the role of East Central Director for several reasons. Her priorities include boosting membership, fostering active leadership, and increasing awareness about the Florida Nurses Association. She believes it is essential to enhance our organization’s presence and to showcase the valuable resources and support we offer to nurses in our region.

Her commitment to advocacy is reflected in participation in events like the American Nurses Association Hill Day and the Florida Nurses Association Membership Assembly, both in 2023 and 2024. Through these experiences, she aims to contribute to the growth and strength of our nursing community.

She is excited about the opportunity to collaborate with and support the advancement and success of both the East Central Region and the Florida Nurses Association as a whole.
