Do Vitamins, Plants Help Uterine Fibroid Risk or Treatment?

A research team out of Poland recently undertook a comprehensive examination of published data to determine the role that vitamins and diet might play in both the risk and treatment of Uterine Fibroids.

“Natural compounds present as an alternative route in UF treatment, especially in patients with contraindications for hormonal therapy,” they determined, adding that “in women treated conventionally [for UF], natural compounds can strengthen therapeutic effects.”
