I experienced an extremely traumatic miscarriage, which was directly affected by rude and incompetent nurses and other healthcare staff. After I began sharing my story, more and more people have relayed their own stories of terrible treatment by healthcare workers. What can be done to ensure that nurses know how to care competently and compassionately for people experiencing pregnancy loss?
