Alex Wubbels plans to donate some of the $500,000 she receives from Salt Lake City and the University of Utah (both entities agreed to split the cost of the settlement) to help people obtain police body camera footage of themselves and provide legal aid for open records requests. She’ll also make a donation to the Utah Nurses Association and help the ANA’s #EndNurseAbuse campaign.
