As 2019 comes to an end, we have a lot to look forward to in 2020, especially the launch of the World Health Organization’s Year of the Nurse and Midwife!

The American Nurse Today team has had a great 2019, but our year culminated with a very exciting event when we were mentioned in The Economist, a London-based international publication founded in 1843. In late December, the The Economist published an article detailing the incredible work of Florence Nightingale and the importance of the upcoming Year of the Nurse and Midwife. The American Nurse Today team was beyond thrilled to see that we were called out in the article as being an important resource for nurses.

We’re thrilled to share  the article with you, and we want to know what you’re most excited about for 2020 and The Year of the Nurse and Midwife.
