Making diabetes education more effective

Is individual or group education most effective for patients with diabetes?

A systematic review in the Journal of Nursing Scholarship indicates that each has a role. Individual education is most effective in reducing HbA1c, and group education is most effective for reductions in other key measures such as BMI and blood pressure.
