1-on-1 With Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader and RN Gabriela Bren

Share

Gabriela Bren is living a double life. On Sunday afternoons all across the country you can catch sidelines at Eagles games, cheering the team on. But when she’s not cheering on the Eagles, she is running around the ICU as a registered trauma nurse.

Bren, A Widener University School of Nursing graduate,  has been a trauma nurse for the past six years, while also being a cheerleader for the past 4 years for the Philadelphia Eagles.

In this interview, Bren explains her daily life during an NFL season, breaking down what different jobs she does throughout the week, both on the hospital floor and for the Eagles. She also goes in depth about how she manages her time, what the Philadelphia Eagles do to accommodate her, what life was like during the COVID-19 pandemic, fun stories about the super bowl, and many other stories from her experience as a Nurse.
